I have a real appreciation for the guys that sandblast and paint the exteriors of those elevated water storage tanks. So much scaffolding that has to be assembled and erected. Then we have to take into consideration the safety concerns for everyone on site during that application.
Then I wonder….what do they coat the insides of those tanks with? What do the insides of those tanks look like after years of delivering our drinking water to us? If anyone has an inspection coming up and would allow me to observe I would be highly appreciative.
As our equipment ages it is important that we protect the original substrate from the effects of the environment. Belzona’s wide range of coatings are designed to do that.
Belzona
1341NSF (Supermetalglide) or
Belzona 5811DW (Immersion Grade for Drinking Water) are two coatings that we’ve been using for decades in potable water applications. The main difference is that the 1341 will give you a huge increase in efficiency.
We hope you’ll consider us as you start on your summer maintenance operations and let us help you repair, protect and improve your component equipment.
